How does the BioVYZR compare with basic personal protective equipment (PPE)?
Masks and face shields are critical to reducing the transmission of diseases. However, when it comes to airborne pathogens, they provide limited protection. In the case of most face masks, outside air can easily leak in around the mask due to the absence of a tight seal around the nose/mouth. Where both masks and face shields are believed to provide good protection from large droplets, both do not shield from micro-particle aerosols suspended in the air that can reach the nose, mouth, and eyes.

What kind of filters does the BioVYZR use? Where do I buy refills?
We have two filter refill options: N95 and N99. For our first production run, we will be using N95 filter material for all the refills. There are two shapes that the filter refills come in: 2 triangles (for the air vents) and 1 circle (for the fan). Your BioVYZR will come with 6 triangle filters and 3 circle filters. Filters should be replaced after 60 hours of continuous use. Refills will be sold on our website: vyzrtech.com. Packaging will include filter disposal instructions for your safety.

Will the BioVYZR fit me?
To simplify our production and to serve the broadest possible segment, we are only currently producing two sizes. We have the Adult Size that fits chest sizes 30” to 52” and can be adjusted to right fit using the adjustable side straps on each side. The Children’s Size is designed for chest sizes that range from 20” to 28” and has the same adjustment mechanism.

What if I have condition that makes breathing difficult?
Wearing a BioVYZR may make breathing more difficult for those with respiratory conditions. People with known or suspected breathing problems, emphysema, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, or cardio/pulmonary problems should consult with their physician before using a BioVYZR.

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
